Invoke the Storm: The Daemon can surround herself with a raging storm at will, creating wind, water and lightning in an area as small as a room or as large as a city block. The heart of the storm is centered on the demon, and it moves as she moves. It causes her no harm, though.

Lore of Transfiguration

The St. Kegans / Innate Powers
« on: September 10, 2017, 07:15:14 pm »
Innate Powers

Daemons all come with a whole slew of powers built in, much like how Vampires and Werewolves do.

Daemons are immune to mind-control and supernaturally induced fear.

Daemons are immune to possession

Daemons can see through illusions and supernatural concealment

Daemons can detect their own kind near by and can converse mind to mind. A daemon can speak to their Thralls at anytime.

Demons can detect the use of supernatural powers in a nearby area, but not the exact nature of the power or its location. They can use their knowledge of the area or maps to pinpoint an exact location.

The St. Kegans / Cult Pain
« on: September 10, 2017, 06:03:48 pm »
It all started with Kiefer. Towards the end of the de Angelys family and the Wrath of Avalon was on the horizon, Kiefer had vanished, kidnapped by a group of cultists who served the insane Earthbound. Their goal was to create a new type of demon free from the the histories of the heavens, a new army free of having to take over host bodies, to take down both Lucifer and the Heavens to destroy the earth itself. This would send Kiefer down into the void to be tormented, torn apart on a cellular level and then remade into a daemon carrying the best and worst of the Defilers, Devils, and The Scourge in his very genetic make up.  What they didn't realize would be the changes this would create and ultimately lead to Kiefer's rebellion and breaking away to ultimate freedom from those who wished to use him for their own dark plans.  Unlike his demonic counterparts Kiefer does not require faith or torment, he does not belong to a faction because he is his own faction which is referred to as Cult Pain.

Those of Kiefer's line feed on actual souls, intense emotions, though not as filling can be used as sustenance we well.

Kiefer's line can both corrupt a soul to the point of creating another daemon. This takes time, corruption, torture, and blood.  A Piece of a true born daemon's spark (soul) must be shared as well.

Kiefer's line can also procreate. Daemons cannot "accidentally" become pregnant. They hold the power over their own creations. Mortals impregnated by daemons die, period. This is because the child will slowly eat the mother's soul in utero and the moment the child is ready to be born it will use the rest of the soul for power and then eat its way out of the mother. Vampires, Mages, Werewolves and other immortal beings with souls also run big risks with pregnancies we well.

The Scourges, originally known as Asharu, were once guardian angels. They loved the humans, but their closeness to humanity drove them mad. When Lucifer started the rebellion they were the most followers in numbers, second only to his own house. Instead of being brave fighters, they made better spies. Now that they are free they find great respect, being able to heal with the right hand and harm with the left.

The Devils, originally known as the "Heralds" or the Namaru, were of the first and highest House of Elohim, the House of the Dawn. During the Age of Wrath, the Namaru acted as leaders on both sides of the war. The Namaru specialize in social skills such as charisma, manipulation, and subterfuge as they are deceivers and master manipulators. Their Lores give them power over the minds of mortals and demons alike, as well as the ability to control fire, including the Faith of other Elohim. Lucifer belonged to this House, and they made up the largest contingent of rebel Elohim.

The Defilers, known formally as Lammasu, were given dominion over the seas, and were meant to inspire humanity through the longings of both races. Before the War in Heaven, they loved the humans, although their love was unrequited as God had forbidden the Elohim from direct contact with their human charges. The Lamassu were the first of the Houses to succumb to Hell. Since their return to the Earth, the Lammasu have become seducers, sensualists and sexual predators, succubuses and incubuses who fulfill such desires as ruining families, destroying businesses, and toppling governments. Their Lores give them power over the weather and seas as well as dominion over physical appearance and the emotions of mortals. Defilers are attracted to humans with extreme vanity, deep insecurity, great artistic talent, or insufficient sex lives.

The Devilschylde line stems from the split of a being known as ShadowLover a powerful demi God/Goddess. ShadowLover recreated Ash Mallen in her/his image after she had sacrificed herself serving her family at the time. ShadowLover what what akined to a succubus/incubus when it came to feeding though other emotions could be sustaining, sex and lust were truly fuel and power. She also had a duality of self in which she had both a male and female form with their own separate personalities. There came a time when power began to overwhelm ShadowLover and he/she split and became Shade and Shadow. Shade the male, Shadow the female. Shadow was taken to Avalon by her child Zabela and placed in stasis within the tombs of the island. Shade stayed behind to be with Ash creating the beginning of the Devilschylde line.  But being Apart from from his other half was causing difficulties and soon Shade fell into the long sleep as well leaving Ash pregnant with twins and new to her powers.  Ash was found by Zabela Matar shortly before the twins were born and the two grew close. Gethin and Lamia were born and soon Zabela took them all to Avalon for safety. Zabela had been a former Lady of Avalon and servant of the Goddess. Zabela was similar to ShadowLover in which she had duality of self, her other half's name was Matthew and with his help Ash had Harley and Quynn. Both Harley and Quynn were powerful seers and pledged themselves as priestesses to the goddess on Avalon. Quynn the more powerful of the two sadly is unable to step foot off of Avalon.

(I will finish this when I get home tonight)

The Soulreavers / The Tzimisce
« on: August 24, 2017, 04:41:02 pm »
The Tzimisce clan is renowned for its evil. Among the most renowned of this line is Vlad Tepes, the Impaler, who split from the clan and
the sect. Tepes is especially infamous for his cruelty, but this trait is common among the members of the clan.
The Tzimisce clan stretched across the Baltic regions of Eastern Europe for many centuries. It established a great power base until the
Tremere, then a house of mortal wizards, established covenants in what is today northern Bulgaria. The two coexisted for a time, not
intruding upon one an other. Eventually, the power-mad Tremere captured some Tzimisces and used them in perverse rituals aimed at
extracting the essence of their immortality. Some Tzimisces believe this was the beginning of the Tremere as a clan.
A group of mages known as House Tytalus uncovered the Tremere activities and began maneuvering against the order with the aid of
other occultists. The Tremere had seen this coming and were prepared, gathering additional magical support from an unrevealed source.
House Tytalus met with defeat, and early efforts of the Inquisition further limited its activities.
The Tzimisce had also suffered at the hands of the Tremere by the time of the war between the wizards. Seeking revenge against the
Tremere, the clan offered aid to House Tytalus. The Tzimisce offered support and, in exchange, House Tytalus promised to ensure that no
mages encroached any further into the clan's territory. The two groups began working together against the Tremere.
The uneasy alliance lasted for many years. Even after the need for it passed, the two groups continued to aid one another as contacts and
occasional supporters. It was kept very quiet, but it lasted. In fact, the Tzimisce still has connections with certain wizards, which the clan
keeps very secret to avoid censure by the leaders of other clans.
The Tzimisce anarchs went a long way in destroying the elders of their own clan, but gave up all major efforts to destroy the remaining
few. The remaining elders live as Inconnu in Bulgaria, Rumania, Austria and Hungary, sitting alone in their mansion and castle havens.
They have accumulated so much magical and political power that they have no fear of their former clan, and fear the Camarilla even less.

Tzimisces have a strong appreciation for learning. They are some of the most educated beings on earth. They seek to understand magic
as well as science, but have not reached the level of the Tremere in this understanding. While they are inhuman, they show it to a lesser
extent than do the Toreador antitribu, for instance. Most Tzimisces are grim and serious, noted for their lack of a sense of humor (or a
twisted one, at best). They are also known for the high value they place on privacy.
The Tzimisce is the second most powerful and numerous clan of the Sabbat. The Lasombra hold the top position in both categories.
However, the Tzimisce is a driving force behind Sabbat ideology, goals and planning. The Tzimisce clan appears happy to let the
Lasombra take the lead in carrying out sect plans.

Nickname: Fiends

Appearance: Tzimisces tend to dress in a very old-fashioned manner. Most, both old and young, dress in clothing popular 100 years ago.
Solid black, accented with white, is popular. Tzimisces tend to resemble the traditional vampire of legend.

Haven: Tzimisces maintain luxurious mansions away from the eyes of mortals. They will stay in communal havens for short periods, but
generally dislike them. The Tzimisces are very peculiar about their havens. To be invited in is a great honor bestowed only on the closest
of comrades. If one enters a Tzimisce's haven uninvited, he will incur the wrath of the vampire. If a Tzimisce invites an individual into her
haven, she assumes the responsibilities of providing for and protecting the individual.

Background: Most Tzimisces choose recruits who are intelligent and well-educated. Recruits are typically between 30 and 40. Most come
from such backgrounds as medicine, science, academia and theology; however, a few have been chosen from the ranks of lunatics. In
peace, Tzimisces get to know their targets by becoming friends with the mortals, making sure the targets will be interesting companions for
centuries, especially since sires maintain close relationships with neonates. During Jyhad, Tzimisce commonly choose college students
and professionals such as doctors and lawyers.

Character Creation: Most Tzimisces have dilettante or professional concepts. Mental Attributes are primary, as are Knowledge Abilities.
Their Natures and Demeanors are generally similar, but not identical. Common Background Traits include Contacts, Mentor, Resources
and Sabbat Status.

Clan Disciplines: Animalism, Auspex, Vicissitude

Weaknesses: Due to the effects of the Vicissitude Discipline, Tzimisces are in a continuous state of physical flux (often they forget their
original form over the centuries). Thus, something deep within the Tzimisces craves stability and permanence. As a result, each time the
Tzimisces sleep, they must surround themselves with at least two handfuls of earth from a land important to them as mortals (usually their
homeland or the graveyard where they underwent their Creation Rites). If they fail to do this, they cannot rest in peace and lose half their
Dice Pools from all actions every 24 hours until down to one die; this weakened state continues until they rest amid their special soil once
again. Many Tzimisces maintain several auxiliary havens, each of which contains the needed soil.

Preferred Paths: Most prefer the Path of Death and the Soul or the Path of Caine. Some are also known to follow the Path of Honorable
Accord.

Organization: The Tzimisce is a closely knit clan, but its members' loyalties lie with the Sabbat first. The Tzimisce hold regular meetings
once per year around the beginning of fall, though not on a particular date. Unlike many clans of the sect, the Tzimisce greatly respects its
elders. However, those who prove inadequate are usually extinguished for the benefit of the sect. The leader of the clan holds the title of
Voivode, and he may make decrees for the Tzimisce to follow. Only foolish Voivodes abuse this power, since the clan would certainly
destroy any leader who might jeopardize the Sabbat or compromise the clan's power.
Gaining Clan Prestige: The Tzimisce protocol for gaining Prestige is extremely complex. It is gained by maintaining the good reputation of
the clan, demonstrating control over others, and supporting the conservative leadership role the Tzimisce plays in sect affairs. It should
also be noted that this clan never awards Prestige to the foolish, rebellious or obnoxious. Subtlety carries a great deal of weight with this
clan.

Quote: "Those who possess true power seldom need to use it. There is much about us you do not know, nor ever will."

Names that are italicized under the sired chylder list are of the original de Angelys bloodline. If these women live, they would have been remade by Skyla after the Wrath of Avalon almost destroyed the entire family. These women would all be members of the Dark Sister Sect.

The Niyati family is an offshoot of the CoTS bloodline. This would be Nyko’s original family bloodline of Ravnos mixed with the Shuvani magics of his original human romani tribe. Joslyn was Nyko’s first Ravnos chylde.

Joslyn also created the Ravnos/Toreador blend that is the de Angleys bloodline with blood magic when Nykola and Faye were married.

Nykola’s ex wife Zabella was a nagah, that branch of his children are also nagah.

Kael was kidnapped as a child by Samantha and sold to a Sidioux demon who raised him. He also carries the demonic taint of his foster mother Rowan Sidioux and considered to be the Prince and heir of her layer of hell, Dis.
